"Stereophonic" is the most Tony Award-nominated play in history. One of its stars is Will Brill, who won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play. Brill opens up about the heaviest parts of playing his self-destructive character, Reg. He details a moment during rehearsals when he needed an emergency session with his therapist and talks about learning how to play the bass for the show.
"Stereophonic" was written by David Adjmi and scored by Will Butler of #ArcadeFire. It follows a fictional band grappling with fame, addiction, heartbreak and creative differences in the '70s.
